Simplify your life with Bank Draft.
Pay your electric bill on time, every time – without writing a check! Bank Draft is the easiest, safest, most convenient and least expensive way to pay your electric bill.
You can still receive monthly statements showing kilowatt-hour use and the amount due, but you won’t have to write a check, come to the office or pay a visit to the night deposit box after hours. Instead, we’ll draft your checking or savings account for the amount due on the date indicated on your bill.
Simplify your life! Sign up by Clicking Bank Draft Above in the Services Section.
Please note that it may take a few days to process your request; so continue to pay your bill until ‘Bank Draft’ appears on it. After that, you’ll never have to remember to write a check to Horry Electric to pay your electric bill again!
Horry Electric Cooperative, Inc. was organized on April 25, 1940, with 627 charter members. Our system was energized on January 7, 1941. As a not for profit, member-owned corporation, Horry Electric is dedicated to providing information and energy-related services on a fair and equitable basis. A nine-member board of trustees, elected from and by their fellow members at the Cooperative Annual Meeting, governs the activities of the Cooperative. The board names the chief executive officer who, in turn, is responsible for appointing the management staff that operates and maintains the system.
